SHAMSUL & MONRUSHA’S KITCHEN

Provenance and taste are at the very heart of our menu. We have championed using the finest fresh local produce since 1977. We have an extensive library of fresh spices in our kitchen, many rare and some we have handpicked ourselves such as our prized fiery red saffron handpicked directly by ourselves from the saffron field in Morocco.

We prepare a completely unique spice mix for each of our refined curries. You will not experience such a vast world of unique flavours anywhere else.

CHAMPIONS OF FRESH, SEASONAL, LOCAL

We were the first of our type to introduce seasonal changing dishes, we develop new recipes using high quality fresh local produce from the beautiful landscape surrounding our restaurant.

The skill and time demanded to produce each dish defies the modern trend for fast, industrialised produced food.

We do not buy in ready prepared spice mixes.
We do not buy in ready prepared deserts or kulfi ice cream.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS / ALLERGENS

Please discuss your dietary requirements with us, we would be delighted to assist. Not all dishes can be adapted but if we can, of course we will do everything possible. There are many dishes on the menu suitable for those following a Gluten free or Nut Free diet.
We do not use flour to thicken our curry sauces.

We have developed an entire range of delicious dishes using many fresh vegetables, both local and exotic and created over 15 unique sauces, each completely different and tantalising.

ONLY PURE HEALTHY NATURAL FATS.
STRICT NO ANIMAL FAT POLICY

We only use virgin olive oil, cold pressed coconut oil and high quality pure ghee made from buffalo milk.
We do not use hydrogenated fats or cheap brands of oil as they are damaging to health.
